Saint Ursicinus of Saint-Ursanne

Profile

Ursicinus was a friend of Saint Columbanus. He was a missionary to Switzerland. He built a monastery at Saint Ursanne in the Swiss Juras, and served as its abbot. He could not bear wine nor those who served it to him.
