Saint Liborius of Le Mans

Profile

Liborius was born to a noble family of Gaul. He was a priest. He became the Bishop of Le Mans, France in 348. He was a friend of Saint Martin of Tours. He served his diocese for 45 years, building many churches. The translation of his relics from Le Mans to Paderborn, Germany led to a sister-city relation that has lasted for over 1,000 years.
