Saint Eulalia of Barcelona

Profile

Eulalia was a sanctified virgin, the forerunner of professed nun. She was martyred at age 13 or 14 in the persecutions of Diocletian. She is often confused with Saint Eulalia of Merida. Several villages in Guienne and Languedoc are named for her.
