1 John 4:12

Verse:

“No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.” -1 John 4:12

Prayer For God’s Love

Lord, we praise Your name that we can entrust our future in Your safe-keeping, knowing that Your love surrounds us and that Your grace is sufficient, no matter how black the circumstances of life may appear. Thank You, Lord, that You hold the world in the palm of Your hand, and nothing can snatch us from that secure position in You. Thank You, in Jesus' name, Amen.

Psalm 103:13

Verse:

“As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him” - Psalm 103:13

Prayer For Compassion

Lord, thank you for all you do for me. Thank you for your provisions in my life. You have given me so much that in some ways I feel spoiled by you. I feel comforted and well cared for by you. I cannot imagine my life in any other way. You have blessed me beyond what I could have imagined, in spite of me not deserving all these blessings. I thank you for that. Let me be what others need, Lord. This is all I ask. Use me as a vessel of compassion to a world in need. In your Holy Name, Amen.

Deuteronomy 5:11

Verse:

“You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.” - Deuteronomy 5:11

Prayer To Follow God

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word and the truths that it contains. Lord, I know that throughout the history of the world, man has sought to discredit and distort biblical truth. Give me a teachable spirit and help me to read Your Word with wisdom and discernment. Provide teachers who do not distort the inspired text, through their own denominational biases or flawed understanding. Correct any biases I may have, and may Your Holy Spirit protect me from any half-truth or part-truths, that may distort my understanding, and guide me into all truth, I pray. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Prayer Seeking the Kingdom of God

Almighty God, it is my prayer that the fruit of Your Word be planted and rooted deep within my heart. As I walk with You, Lord, I pray that the legal rights given to me will be manifested. Health, success, prosperity, peace, happiness and joy are just some of those rights that You have granted through the blood of Your precious Son, Jesus Christ. May the promises of Your Word bring me to the place of glory in Your Kingdom and bring out the best in me.

Matthew 7:1

Verse:

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged” - Matthew 7:1

Prayer For Judgment

Lord Jesus, You teach us to pray that heaven would manifest on earth. Yet, I often am perplexed about how to apply this to my own life. I am presented each day with choices, and I am unsure how to judge each circumstance. Lord, help me to discern Your will. Speak to me through Your word, that my heart might be rightly formed. Illuminate my mind and speak truth into my life. Give me a renewed mind in Your spirit, Lord. Amen.
