Romans 10:10

Verse:

“For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” - Romans 10:10

Prayer Against Unbelief

Jesus, my Savior, You came down to earth to save me and told me to have faith in You. You said that with faith I can even say to the mountain, “Go, throw yourself into the sea,” and it will be done. My mind knows that if I believe, trust and have faith in You, I will receive whatever I ask for in Your holy name. I believe in You, Jesus. I believe that You are Lord. You are the God Most High. You are the Creator of Heaven and Earth. Erase my doubt, Jesus. Take it all away. Help my unbelief. I deliver myself into Your righteous hands. Amen.

Episcopal Prayer

O God of peace, who hast taught us that in returning and rest we shall be saved, in quietness and confidence shall be our strength: By the might of thy Spirit lift us, we pray thee, to thy presence, where we may be still and know that thou art God; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Psalm 82:3

Verse:

“Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed.” - Psalm 82:3

Prayer For Victims of Injustice

I pray for the lost, the hurting, the lonely, the sick, the bereaved, and those who are imprisoned—behind both visible and invisible walls. Send your comfort, your peace, and your calming presence to those who are without hope. Protect the defenseless, and hold them close to your heart. I pray for laborers to tell the good news of Jesus to people around our world. Jesus, my heart cries out for persecuted believers, too. Make them brave, and give them your powerful protection. I pray you will bring swift justice to those who want to destroy the innocent and those who carry your name. Bind the power of Satan, and strengthen believers everywhere. Amen

Prayer Of Exaltation

My heart is filled with adoration When I lift my eyes to you. For you are Lord of all creation, You make all things new.My mind is filled with inspiration When I open my eyes anew. For you are hope and love outspoken, Your words are full of truth. My life is full of aspiration When I see through eyes that weep. For you are Lord of the grand and broken, May I be your hands and feet.

Hebrews 3:14

Verse:

“We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.” - Hebrews 3:14

Prayer For Conviction of Sins

Holy Father, You are the one and only Holy Father in heaven and on earth. I humble myself and confess that I need Your help to walk holy in this life You have given me. Thank You for the Holy Spirit's conviction and correction that You have freely bestowed to those who believe in Jesus as our Lord and Savior. I pray that the Holy Spirit, in mercy, would convict me of any sin or any bad habit that is in my life. I forsake my pride and renounce it in Jesus' Name. I want to live a life that brings glory and joy to You.

Prayer For Fully Understanding God’s Word

Dear Lord, Thank you that your Holy Spirit helps me to discern and understand your Word. Give me a hunger to feed my soul on Scripture every day. I recognize that living according to Scripture gives me a firm foundation for this life and the life to come. Open my ears to your Word, so when I hear it spoken aloud, I will receive it with joy. Help me to obey your Word so I will fully understand it and be able to move on to maturity in my faith. I pray these things through the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Prayer For Evangelism

Righteous Savior, as I look out over this city, I see so many who are lost and afraid. And yet in my own strength, I know that there is nothing I can do. I am shy. I am timid. Prayer For Seeking Refuge

Dear God, I seek refuge in You from any knowledge which gives no benefit, and from a heart that fears You not, and from a soul not satisfied, and from prayer that cannot be answered. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what You know, and I ask You for the good of what You know, and I ask for Your forgiveness for what You already know. Surely You are the Knower of the Unseen. Amen.

2 Peter 3:9

Verse:

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” - 2 Peter 3:9

Prayer To God to Guide Our Steps

Lord, I miss the way we used to be. It’s my fault, I know. I haven’t had the patience to rest at your feet and meditate on your Word. I’ve been too impatient to wait on your will. I’ve gotten used to making things happen right now instead of waiting on you to guide my steps. Bring me back to those days when I hungered for your plans. Give me the patience to linger in your presence. Pause my racing thoughts and self-imposed time limits. Thank you for being the only one who can truly take away my urge to do life by myself. Thank you for showing me that putting you first is what’s best for me.
