Righteous God, I want to be more like You so help me actively pursue righteousness and love. I choose to seek You because I know that You offer life, prosperity and honor. Your Word says that the righteous will never be shaken and will be remembered forever. I thank You for Your righteousness, Amen.

Lord God, You teach us that there is no greater love than he who lays down his life for a friend. Lord, I want to be this kind of friend. I want to reflect on the type of love that You have for us in my relationships here on Earth. Father, help me to adopt a heart like Yours. Help me to carry my cross and to bear the burdens of those around me. Help me to be a loving friend. Amen.

Prayer For Courage To Face The Future

Heavenly Father, the struggles and difficulties of life seem to be swirling all around me like a misty fog in the blackness of night, and at times I just don’t know which way to turn. Give me the courage to take my eyes off the difficulties of life and to unreservedly anchor my faith in You. And Lord, from this day forward, as I step out into the unknown future, may I have the courage to put my hand into Your hand and not to fear, knowing that You will never fail me nor forsake me. Loving Father, only you know my end from the beginning. Nothing I do or say catches you by surprise. You know what is in my heart, good or bad. Everyone around me is choosing to do things their way, and it is very tempting for me to do so too. But Father God, I want your will to be done in my life. If it is not your will for me to take this path, then Father, give me divine strength to accept and to follow your lead. May every decision I make be pleasing to you. Light in the Darkness, thank You for loving me. Please bring Your light into my soul and bless me with laughter. Everything around me proves I am empty of happy emotions, and I want that to change. My negative thoughts and gloomy moods have gotten the best of me, and I am longing for joy once again. I ask that You flood my heart with joyous peace, so I can remember what it feels like to smile.
