Filipino Catholics interwoven by faith, service to God, and heritage

Our History
Years of Journey
SFJM was spearheaded by Alagad ni Maria, a Philippine-based congregation founded in 1990 by the late Carmelite Bishop Julio Xabier Labayen. Established and recognized by the Diocese on June 1, 2021, the SFJM continues to grow and touch more lives of the Filipinos and Filipino-Americans alike.
Diocese of Orange San Jose Filipino Ministry, SJFM for short, is an organization of volunteers from various parishes of the diocese.
